From the Author Greetings from the Editor in Chief of Special Operations Fitness. My obsession with fitness began three decades ago when I was a Junior in the Arizona public school system. I had just been selected to be the Cross Country Team Captain, yet was the slowest runner on the team. It was then that I realized that I was more gifted with "leadership" than with elite physical strength and agility.
